Top 5 Beauty Retail Apps in Belgium: Q3 2024 Performance

In the third quarter of 2024, Belgium's beauty retail app market saw varied performance among its top five applications, according to Sensor Tower data.

ICI PARIS XL – Beauty experienced a steady decrease in weekly downloads from early July, starting at around 3.7K and dipping to approximately 1.9K by late August. However, the trend reversed in September, with downloads rebounding to roughly 3K by the month's end. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, beginning at about 14.9K and peaking at over 15.9K in late September.

Rituals Home & Body Cosmetics showed a significant spike in downloads during early September, reaching over 5.1K, which was the highest for the quarter. This increase was mirrored in active users, which rose from 6.1K in early July to over 10.2K in early September before settling at 8.2K by the end of the quarter.

The Parfumerie Douglas app had a relatively stable performance, with weekly downloads hovering around 1K for most of the quarter and peaking at approximately 1.5K in late September. Active user numbers showed a modest increase, starting at about 5.8K and reaching 6.2K by the end of September.

Notino: profumi e cosmetici displayed a fluctuating download pattern, with a notable peak of 1.7K in late September. Active users, meanwhile, remained fairly constant, beginning at 7.3K in early July and closing the quarter at nearly 7K.

Lastly, Boozyshop - the make up app saw an initial surge in downloads, reaching 2.5K in early August. However, this momentum tapered off, with downloads declining to just over 400 by the end of September.
